Discharge Assistance

We work with physicians, social workers and hospital discharge planners to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to the home.

Patient/Client Assessment

Trained staff members will assess the needs of the patient/client with respect to the equipment ordered by the physician.

Delivery

SpecialCare offers same-day delivery on most items.  We will typically deliver to our clients within 24 hours of the order acceptance at no extra charge.

Set Up and Training

Our experienced Medical Equipment Technicians will set up the home medical equipment and educate the patients and/or caregivers to ensure their understanding on how to safely operate the equipment.  Our product line for home medical equipment includes supplies for oxygen therapy, airway management and aerosol therapy, as well as apnea monitors, ambulation aids, enteral and oral nutrition, TENS units, pulse oximeters, diabetic supplies, bedroom equipment and bathroom aids.

Respiratory Services

SpecialCare employs highly trained licensed respiratory therapists to care for our patients.  For our patients with respiratory needs, we provide supplies for oxygen therapy, airway management and aerosol therapy.
